Feeling neglected is nothing new to residents across Gorse Hill and Tolladine. The huge increase in the cost of living that we face this year is going to hit residents here particularly hard and make those feelings of being neglected and ignored even worse.

On a local level, there are many issues to be tackled. Litter and fly tipping blight the area. I will fight for Gorse Hill to get its fair share of bins and for a more affordable bulky waste collection service. Too many private landlords fail to maintain their properties to a decent standard. I will hold all landlords to account when they fall short. Children and young people need more play areas and things to do near where they live.

It would be an honour to serve you as a city councillor. I will be a strong voice for local residents, making sure that Gorse Hill Ward gets its fair share of city council funding and attention
