International Women’s Day is an annual celebration of the social, cultural, economical and political achievements of women. This year the theme of International Women’s Day is a pledge for gender parity
Here in Worcester we are striving for gender parity in our campaigns for the city elections 2016. Worcester labour have selected more female candidates than ever this year, and, depending on the results of the elections we will be close to gender parity in the number of labour councillors.
To celebrate this Worcester Labour Women’s Forum are staffing a stall outside the guildhall on Saturday 5th March between 10.00 to 12.00. Female councillors and candidates will also be there. We would love you to take a break from your shopping and pop along for a chat. We’d be delighted to share with you news of our campaigns and our excitement at aiming for gender parity in Worcester
