Prospective Labour city councillor for Claines Ward
I have lived in Worcester my whole life. I was born in the old hospital in Ronkswood and received all my education here, so it really is my home in the truest sense.
I will be seeking your support on Thursday 6th May for one reason only: because I want to improve my home and yours.
If elected, I will:
Support efforts to reduce traffic congestion in the city
Champion local businesses and support ‘buy local’ initiatives to keep money in the city
Fight for the building of genuinely affordable homes on suitable sites to tackle the housing and homelessness crises in our city
Defend our superb green spaces and work to ensure everyone has access to them
Engage honestly and frequently with local residents, explaining things to them where necessary, but listening to them at all times so as to represent people to the best of my ability
In my view, the above are pledges that would make serious improvements to our city were they to be carried out successfully. I hope you will lend me your trust on polling day to allow me and my Labour Party colleagues to get on with fulfilling them
