Your Labour Candidate for Claines (County Ward)

I am a proud mum of two adopted children, being one of the first disabled people to be allowed to adopt. I worked for over twenty years in media communication in the health service and in local government and have experience with English Heritage. I have also taught English to Muslim students in the Middle East.

As County Councillor for Claines I would use my experience to improve support for children and young people, especially those with Special Educational Needs. As a wheelchair user, I know how difficult it is to get about the city and further afield. Improving bus services is essential, as is fixing potholes and improving pavements.
