Residents across the UK will be voting in local elections this May. However, there are no local elections taking place in Worcester this year.
This is because councils operate on different electoral cycles. Worcester City Council elects all councillors at once every four years, with the last full election taking place in 2023. As a result, the next scheduled elections in Worcester are not due until 2027.
While there is no vote locally this May, elections are taking place elsewhere — and the issues people care about here in Worcester remain just as important.
Worcester Labour remains active all year round — supporting residents, campaigning on local issues, and working to improve our city.
