Many volunteers start small – helping at events, delivering a few leaflets or supporting online campaigns. Will help you find what suits you.
What volunteers achieve
Volunteers help support campaigns that deliver real results for Worcester communities — including backing the £20 million investment in Warndon and helping residents shape how that funding is used, from local services to safer streets and improved facilities. Volunteers have also supported successful local safety campaigns, including improvements around Warndon Library and the upgrade of the Windermere Drive crossing to improve pedestrian safety.
From monthly tombolas to quizzes, musical nights and Christmas parties, volunteers help organise friendly local events that raise money, bring people together and help build a stronger local Labour community.
Labour volunteers helped deliver major political change in Worcester through campaigning, leafleting, doorstep conversations, phone banking and community organising.
Following the 2024 local elections, Labour won the largest number of seats on Worcester City Council with 17 councillors, forming a minority administration and taking responsibility for leading the council and delivering for residents across the city.
Volunteers also played a vital role in the election of Tom Collins as Worcester’s Labour MP, helping secure a strong Labour voice for the city in Parliament.
