Meet the team: Adrian Gregson
Speaking up and acting on the issues that matter for Rainbow Hill Ward.” - Adrian Gregson
Working for Rainbow Hill
Adrian Gregson has lived in Worcester for nearly 40 years and is a long-standing advocate for the Rainbow Hill community.
As a serving City Councillor, Adrian has built a strong track record of working with residents to resolve local issues, improve neighbourhoods, and make sure people’s voices are heard at the Guildhall.
He has also served as Leader of Worcester City Council and was honoured to be Mayor of Worcester, representing the city and meeting community groups, charities, and local organisations who play such an important role in Worcester life.
Standing up for Rainbow Hill
Adrian understands the pressures facing residents because he sees them every day in his work as a councillor.
From the rising cost of living to housing challenges, anti-social behaviour, and public transport concerns, Adrian focuses on practical action — not just promises.
As Chair of The Arches steering group, he has helped deliver improvements that make Worcester more accessible, including the new walking and cycling route linking Foregate Street to The Hive — opening up the area and creating a safer, more attractive space for residents and visitors.
He works closely with residents, council officers, and local partners to:
- Address anti-social behaviour and community safety concerns
- Push for better housing standards and support for tenants
- Improve local transport connections
- Ensure residents’ concerns are acted on quickly
Experience That Delivers
Adrian brings experience and leadership to the role:
- Former Leader of Worcester City Council
- Former Mayor of Worcester
- Long-serving City Councillor
- Decades of experience working with local communities
This experience means he understands how the council works — and how to get results.
A Strong Voice for Worcester
Adrian believes Worcester is a city with huge potential — but that potential must be shared fairly.
He supports Labour’s vision to:
- Tackle inequality and support those most affected by the cost of living
- Strengthen the local economy and support high streets
- Protect Worcester’s heritage while planning for the future
- Invest in communities and public services
He is committed to making sure Rainbow Hill residents benefit from that vision.
