Hi, I’m Jabbar

“I’m Jabbar Riaz, deputy leader of Worcester Council and a local councillor committed to safer streets, stronger communities, and practical local action.

I work on the issues that matter most to residents, including road safety, parking, and local infrastructure. I believe in listening carefully, speaking up clearly, and keeping residents informed while pushing for action.

I’m committed to delivering real improvements for our community and making sure local voices are heard. It’s a privilege to represent the area and support residents.”

Working for Local Residents

Fixing everyday problems
I regularly take up issues raised by residents, including damaged infrastructure, unsafe parking, fly-tipping, and road conditions. By reporting problems and following them up, I work to make sure concerns are acted on.

Holding decision-makers to account
Where progress is too slow, I continue to press for updates and action. I believe residents deserve clear answers and practical solutions to the issues affecting their daily lives.

Supporting the community
I’m proud to support local projects, schools, and community initiatives that bring people together and improve quality of life across Worcester.

Working collaboratively
I work with colleagues, council officers, and partners to secure improvements for the city, supporting investment and regeneration that delivers real benefits for local residents.
